Watery Wednesday - Low Tide

First post for Watery Wednesday. I took this a few days ago next to the mouth of the Mad River Estuary. Pretty cool spot - there's a thin stretch of beach between the river and the ocean. Lots of driftwood on the sand, fun spot to kayak too. It was mid-day so the light wasn't ideal, looks much better black and white! I thought the driftwood reflection and sand formations were pretty nifty.

Texture and range of chrome PLUS!!! Fabulous! I'm sure you've discovered Dina in Jerusalem Hills and her blog. The two of you seem to have a lot in common!

Thank you!! I'm glad I got the photo when I did, because I have a feeling that particular piece of wood is gone now - really high tide from the full moon today.
