Fat and Happy

Another oldie...A white-crowned sparrow way up in CA's White Mountains. He was so into fattening up and very unconcerned about me. Shadow Shot

Love your bird shadows! Chubby mate, isn't he? Always enjoy your bird shots -- shadow or the real thing! Hope you have a great weekend, Jill!

I just love the little critters when they're all fluffed up, just wanna give a great big hug and a smooch!

He's such a full little fellow...I'm surprised he can still fly. Lovely photo.

This bird will not stop at his goal just because a camera nearby. He seems chubby, but needs the strength build a nest and such in the Spring. Therefore, he gets bigger, but not to big that he cannot fly. He seems to enjoy the best of both worlds!
