Gypsum Everywhere

This week I've been in the process (wait, I'm still in the process) of updating my photography site and organizing photos (long process, I should be more organized). This is White Sands National Monument from late June 2008, about 10 days after we got the Canon Rebel (now I've got the 7D). I love this photo and I love White Sands...must...go...back..soon! Jumping off those dunes for hours on end and in the middle of the night with a full moon might possibly be on my top 5 favorite things ever. Scenic Sunday, Monochrome Weekend

Love it! Very lunar - maybe it's the moonlight. But that sounds like such a cool and crazy thing to do :D

I'm planning to organise my photos during the Easter hols - name them, date them, file them in an external hard-drive and promise myself never to let them build up like that again! It's a task I'm not looking forward to.

I've never seen white sand. I thought it was snow. It looks fabulous. I would very much like to see this place with my own eyes.

Lots of sand, er, gypsum! Jumping off dunes at night in a full moon does sound fun. Of course, I'm not as young as I used to be, and night turns into sleep pretty early...
Best wishes for your organizational quest!
