Mice Friends II

Mice Friends! I found these guys by the tent, while camping in the middle of nowhere Hell's Canyon, Idaho a couple years ago. There were 2 adults, 4 babies. Whenever the sun came out, they were all huddled up by the entrance of their humble abode, soaking up the heat/sun. Freaking precious! This is from my point and click by the way- they let me get right up next to them. I actually was able to pet their heads while they were sleeping. It's true. If you want to see some other (even cuter, dare I say) mice friends, check out this link from this summer...some videos of them hoarding almonds. Macro Monday, Nature Notes, Camera critters

...freaking precious is right. Ack...that little foot and mouth melt my heart. I just checked out all of your Tennessee posts. You captured some really beautiful photos. Loved all the bluebirds as well...and the chickadee photo was gorgeous. My inlaws just moved to Tennessee on the Cumberland Plateau. It's gorgeous there...

Lovely moment and composition Jill. It ain't the camera, it's the eye of the artist.

The videos were adorable especially to my cat who was looking..but maybe he was thinking more of fast food. My daughter had two pet rats and they were really smart and really clean....Michelle
