beautiful colours for a very peaceful scene !
Fantastic scenery, beautiful colors.Sunny :)
I can see why you framed this one! What a BEAUTIFUL scene!
This is a masterpiece! The colours are to die for. Thank goodness your batteries let you take just one more photo.
Oh lovely reflection and scenery
Beautiful view! Great shot!
Wonderful reflection and colors. I would love to be in a world without ice on water rigt now:-)
Your photographs are so beautiful! I do wish they would open to a larger size to see more detail and have a bigger overall impact... I'm just sayin' :) They're terrific anyway.
Great reflection nutty but I've got to comment on your header shot. Surely these are LBJ's who have had the misfortune of tripping over a pine cone into a can of blue paint;-). Top banana, btw my brother Mick told me to come see the birds, glad I did.
Thanks! Worth mentioning is that this was one of the verrry few sunny days during the two weeks I was there, bad time for the batteries to die! And the one gas station I passed in 4 hours didn't have the right kind! Oh well, i still love this shot :)
Stunning reflection shot, well done. All the bestGuyRegina In Pictures
Beautiful photo from a harbor. There must be very cold in Alaska !It has been very cold winter here in Scandinavia too ! Thanks for your comment :)
Beautiful reflection shot, Jill!
I can see why it is a favorite! It is lovely!
What a beautiful view! Great color!
I can see why you'd frame this one Jill. If I remember correctly, Valdez was at or near the epicenter of the Alaskan earthquake back in 1964 and took some serious damage. I was in King Salmon at the time. Scary when the ground moves underfoot, airplanes jump up and down and power poles sway back and forth. My friend Shelly was in Anchorage for passover when the quake hit. He claimed the first tremors hit when he stepped into the synagogue. Yeah right. We were both serving in the USAF at the time.
Love the colors. Speaking of Valdez, I still won't by Exxon or Mobile gas.
Just enough juice to get that last frame and it was worth it! I love the contrast in colors between the water and the sky. The blues are duking it out.
Well worth framing this beautiful scenery!Jill, you should give it a try to visit Death Valley, best time would be winter and spring. It gets too hot in the summer. The best way would be on the 395 and take 190 East on Olancha, I think after Lone Pine.
This is worthy of a frame! Beautiful reflection!
I can see why it is a favorite, it is a gorgeous shot of the boats at Valdez Harbor.
This is a gorgeous shot. I would have it framed too! I pulled that battery trick a while back, but my results were not nearly as happy as these. Kathy
I can understand why — it's stunning! Happy weekend!
