Frogger

These are the rest of the pictures of the Pacific tree frogs from yesterday (2 different ones). We hear them ALL the time and can sometimes pinpoint their location but they're pretty good at throwing their little frog voices and jumping away into thick vegetation to avoid being photographed and admired. However, these two seemed to be pretty pumped about the excellent weather yesterday and were hanging out on the trail and shorter grass. They smiled and posed for a few shots and were on their little frog way. Such cute little froglettes...seems an appropriate word for the tiny guys. Nature Notes, Color Carnival

I'm surprised they stayed still long enough for you to get such good photos!

Great captures of these little peepers. They are very hard to find much less photograph. Well done.

It's amazing you got so many shots without them taking off. Great sequence.

I'm not sure I have ever seen tree frogs here. For sure I have never tried to photograph them. These really are cute!

What a treat to see the tree frogs. I know what you mean about them throwing their voices and leaping away. At least, that makes sense, since I've heard but not seen the tree frogs in my area. Adorable!

They hide with great ruthlessness, not caring about the disappointment it brings to frog-lovers.
