Into the Ocean

(Part of Redwoods NP) This is from this weekend, but the last time we tried to go to this beach, Redwood creek and the slough had merged because of a really high tide, so we weren't able to actually get out on the beach. It's a pretty cool spot and I don't think it usually gets a big crowd, which is always a plus! Skywatch Friday

Beautiful scenes here.

Wonderful shots, as always. These make me think we need to schedule a camping trip to the coast.

The rainbow effect on the sand in "Strange Light" was great as well.

Your coastline is so different from ours. I wouldn't trade ours for anything, but I love the features. Reminds me of that scene in "From Here To Eternity" with Burt Lancaster and Deborah Kerr in the surf.

I love those monolith type rock formations coming up out of the sea and your images are quite lovely~

I'm glad you could get there and take these photos. I like them all, but especially the first one. There's something about the way the elements all fit together that makes it seem complete and finished.

My favorite time to visit the eastern beaches is in the fall, after the vacation season is over.

Such a calming beach area and one that looks like a great place for a family outing.

Beautiful shots of one of our favorite NPs; and one where I never get decent pictures because I'm too busy being awed.

Tx for sharing
