Oh now this is really great stuff, very nice. I got something like this last year of a Cardinal, always fun getting them in their own element, doing their thing~
poor little one. Almost drowned :( But a great photo.
Cute little picture. Great job of capturing the moment. Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a comment.Ann

Poor little thing - brilliant capture!
Brilliant capture but poor little one. Really nice photo:)
a superb capture.
Now that is a moment in time captured so beautifully!
WOW...good shot. I like it!
That is a truly great photo of the poor wet hummingbird. In that area it rains a lot so he probably was used to it. So happy to have you drop by my place for a visit.
I presume it's enjoying itself but its expression is a little dubious! Clever shot.
Good capture.Sydney - City and Suburbs
What a cool capture!
Beautifully captured moment!
Awww. poor little bird.... soggy and weary .... great timing, lovely shot!
Oh, Jill, the second wet bird I see today. That's a real splash for that cutie!
Amazing shot !
You do capture some amazing shots, Jill.
Excellent. I'm so happy it's bathing I thought it was something much more sinister :] I really wish bth my camera and I had ore skill ;)
I just love hummingbirds! Happy Wordless Wednesday!!
Wow great shot! Creative! Nicely done!
Stunning shot. We have a hand raised rainbow lorikeet. He loves going out on the grass in the dew or rain and rolling around for a “grass bath” it is hilarious.
Super capture! WOW!
that is an extremely awesome picture!
Rain is such a simple pleasure for small creatures. Your shot is stunning, Jill.

Hi, Jill; What a terrific photo. Happy WW and St. Paddy's Day, too. :)
Great shot! Thanks for stopping by last WW.
Fun to see little birds bathing, isn't it? You have a great capture there, too! Believe it or not, I've never seen a hummingbird in the wild. I'd like to, though!
What a beautiful photo! Nature makes for the best subject.
What a capture!! ~karen
I've never seen a hummer that looked quite like that. Great shot.
This is an amazing shot !! Very beautiful !!Unseen Rajasthan
Fabulous shot. Isn't it amazing that we're able to stop time, so that we can see something so tiny, so 'of the instant'?
I love the idea of bathing in the rain - although our rainshowers probably too soft and gentle to really be effective for humans! I've never seen any of our birds bathing in the rain - it'd be a very sweet sight if they did.
Great picture - perfect for watery and wordless! A
this is such a unique photo, I love it!
I really enjoy your wildlife pictures-you are good at it. I used to feel sorry for birds in the rain until I figured out they only get wet on the outside. And with all that down, I don't think they get cold, either. I mean, water fowl sit in ice water all day.
