Oh now this is really great stuff, very nice. I got something like this last year of a Cardinal, always fun getting them in their own element, doing their thing~

That is a truly great photo of the poor wet hummingbird. In that area it rains a lot so he probably was used to it. So happy to have you drop by my place for a visit.

I presume it's enjoying itself but its expression is a little dubious! Clever shot.

Stunning shot. We have a hand raised rainbow lorikeet. He loves going out on the grass in the dew or rain and rolling around for a “grass bath” it is hilarious.

Fun to see little birds bathing, isn't it? You have a great capture there, too! Believe it or not, I've never seen a hummingbird in the wild. I'd like to, though!

Fabulous shot. Isn't it amazing that we're able to stop time, so that we can see something so tiny, so 'of the instant'?

I love the idea of bathing in the rain - although our rainshowers probably too soft and gentle to really be effective for humans! I've never seen any of our birds bathing in the rain - it'd be a very sweet sight if they did.

I really enjoy your wildlife pictures-you are good at it. I used to feel sorry for birds in the rain until I figured out they only get wet on the outside. And with all that down, I don't think they get cold, either. I mean, water fowl sit in ice water all day.
