SF Garter Snake

This tiny SF garter snake was at the Azalea Preserve a couple days ago. He was only about a foot long and surprisingly stopped long enough for me to get in his face and get a photo. I used the macro with the extension tube, so I was right up in his face that - should make those scared of itty bitty snakes shake in your boots, ha! :) He's cute, come on!

A fantastic, impressive image with high sensitivity for the animal.

Nice! He's a cute little guy. Snakes get such a bad rap. They are really beneficial reptiles and most are not harmful to people.

Nice shot. I usually have some outside when I start gardening in the spring but haven't noticed any yet.
