Whoa. Love the processing on this one.
Pretty nicely? Rather well? Try Stunning!!!
Spooky! I love it!
That could be another for the Wall...
i like : )
Very spooky! I lie it.
I love the effect of the back lit branches. Great atmosphere.
It turned out extremely well, Jill. Sometime it pays to break the rules. And your lovely photo is perfect proof.
The lighting is beautiful!
I agree with Clytie! It's a stunning photo!
Yes, that did come out extremely well. I think the moss on the tree caught the highlights and you captured it perfectly.
The backlighting and composition are so gorgeous it's hard to look away.
This is one of my favorites to be posted on monochrome wall. Very nice one.
Beautifully taken! Loved this.Kisses from Nydia.
Nice to break the photography rules sometimes and get a great photo.
Nice and spooky!:-)
Backlighting can be very fun, but is also very difficult. This one was just great.
wow, it looks so unique and lovely...like hairy branches :)
Loving the back light here, Jill. looks wonderful. Funny, coz I took some shots of back lit trees just this morning and I wasnt lucky to get a decent one. Btw, thanks for your encouraging remarks on some of my photos.
Terrific capture as always, Jill! I love it! It does look mysterious -- great book cover for a mystery! Hope you have a great weekend!Sylvia
at first glance, I thought this was something bacterial being cultured in the lab - excellent shot!
I rather likey, it's a beautiful, mysterious shot!
The picture is beautiful and even mysterious a bit. B&W works nicely, and upon further review, it seems to be a negative on old fashioned film. It is a positive take on branches, but they could even be arms of fingers, too. So much can be read into this wonderful take!
it worked out beautifully - evocative effects
It reminds me of spiders but this shot is really awesome. Spooky but I love it.
You're being modest Jill when you say rather well. I think this image is fantastic.
Very nice indeed! I like to shoot into the sun, but it means I can't really see what I've got until after I have released the shutter--I'm squinting too much!
Black and white can be so effective in the right circumstances, and you have captured the image perfectly. Well done!
Nice one, Jill. The Ents from Middle Earth come to mind.
an awesome shot for black and white...a bit mysterious....
