I thoroughly enjoying all the wonderful pictures you have put up over the last week or so! That baby seal definitely knows how to relax, the poppy is something I have never set sight on either.

I spent two days at a NP nearby, famous for the migrating birds this time of the year, but also a treasure trove of plants and flowers. I found two different kind of orchids.

Great pictures!!
You must be devasted like me watching the spreading oil slick in the Gulf of Mexico. This spill will inflict widespread environmental damage along the coast.
Several bird species and wildlife are impacted by the spill, which could hit the Pass-a-Loutre Wildlife Management Area, a delicate area of swampland, today.
Thank you for visiting,
Gisela
