The columbines are out and about! Found these yesterday off the trail - only 4 of 'em. Pretty photogenic flowers though, I'm a fan! Today's Flower, Mellow Yellow, Oh and hey! some little forget me nots, because they begged for a photo also. Blue Monday, Ruby Tuesday

Lovely photos and I´ve never seen this flower in this particular colour before! :)
Flowers like this are always most exciting when they're in the wild! Fabulous specimens!
they are lovely Jill! Happy Mother's day.
Wonderful job with the columbines.
Ours are starting to go by. It is a good thing I shot one last week because this week we have 20mph winds. There will be no shooting wildflowers today!
Your spurs look a little shorter than ours.
I love columbines!!
Beautiful pictures like always,

Beautiful columbines!
These are fantastic shots of the columbine. So vibrant.
Thanks for you comment on mine and I have to admit that the only problem with realizing I have roses I planted 20 years ago is that it reminds me that I'm not still 20. Mostly kidding since my daughter is 25 and I'm actually happy to be 53 but it's still weird to think that I've been in the same house for 26 years. Especially since Bill and I thought it would be our starter house. I guess it's about time I finish it, ha.
Fabulous color!
Columbine - so old-fashioned and so pretty. Love that red color.
