Wow, a beautiful field of mule ears. I'm missing my Sierra wildflowers, have't been there July 4th. Can't complain, Alaska was beautiful.

I am familiar with mule ears, but did not know they made a flower called that. These fields are very pretty filled with them.

I would definitely love to walk that trail ... don't know how much actual walking I would do, though ... I'd have to be stopping every couple of steps to take another picture!!!
