Nice! This particular plant freaks my camera out--at least one's I've photographed in Yellowstone. It always overloads on the yellow so I don't get a sharp, normal photograph. I know it did this on one other plant, once, I think something insanely red, but this is the original color-freakout plant. =) Super cool shapes!

This is Nuphar lutea commonly known as Spatterdock. It's a member of the family Nymphaeaceae, as are the true waterlilies (Nymphaea). The Lotus is a Nelumbo species that belongs to a different family, Nelumbonaceae.
