Zac and I flew up to Philadelphia this weekend for a friend's wedding and to see his grandparents. Really quick trip but we had a great time. Spent some time at Longwood Gardens with the grandparents...sooo many great flowers! Haven't been to a botanical garden in a while and this place was pretty outstanding. The lilies were probably my favorite, if you can't tell from the photos...My World Watery Wednesday

Those pads for the lilies look like they're pieces of sculpture floating on the water. The colors in your photos are so vivid - I haven't been to Longwood Garden for many years but believe it's one of the most beautiful in the US.

Longwood is ~1 hour from my house and is a pretty spectacular botanical garden. The land was originally owned by William Penn and eventually was purchased by Pierre DuPont, where it underwent extensive expansion.
Beautiful photographs! Quite a contrast from the Rocky Mountains!
