This Changing Light

Some pretty fantastic lighting was happening the other night (right after sunset). The moon was reflecting in the water along with the cypress and the Great Blue. I was really surprised how the photos came out. I was shooting at a higher ISO than I like to use but I really dig this scene. The colors are out of control.

Wish you great days over there:-)

The scene is just gorgeous. The color of the sky in the background above the waterline and its reflection below provide such a cool setting for the rest. Even without the Great Blue this photo would rock. With the Great Blue it becomes spectacular.

Fabulous!!! Whether it is true to what you were seeing or not. I think an angel adjusted your camera.

That light is one in a million and reminds me of the wonders of Shishkin's paintings.

That is amazing lighting! I love how the colors are muted and subdued, but one can see all the details of the bird, trees and reflections.

What a stunning shot ! I'm very impressed... The colors remind me a video game I use to love to play, Real Myst : the color gradient between blue and purple make it so unreal, so perfect... Nicely done !

Where will the heron go in winter?
