I like the new layout and the photo is great! I like how you used the cliff to block the sun.
LOVE IT! We were in Big Bend last April. Do try and canoe a bit of the Santa Elena canyon if you can. Also, there is some great hiking in the mountains. ENJOY!

That sun looks great. Boom & I feel warmed by it. It's been -41 with wind chill for the last week here. Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River.
What a beautiful shot. Great choice for B.
Ah, that looks nice warm and sunny.
Such a beautiful shot, thanks for sharing
The large outcropping leaves a dark shadow. As we float down the water, though, the massive darkness opens up into a lovely and sunny environ. Nicely captured!
What a place to relax...Have a good week ahead!
Beautiful shadow shot!My Shadow Shots, have a great weekend!
Beautiful, beautiful shot,
What a perfect shot to see on such a cold grey January day here in Canada.
Gorgeous! Another place to put on my list of places to see.
What a beautiful place. I love the softness of the sun peeping round the cliff.
Beautiful blue sky - and nice shadow!
A beautiful scene touched with a soft fall of shadow!
I'd love to cool off in that water as my brain starts trickling out of my ears at 42C.We used to have a 60 acre river=frontage block at Big Bend although that was on the Murray river in South Australia. It had lovely sandstone cliffs and we just kept it as a nature reserve. Had to sell it after the fire to help finance rebuilding.I look forward to the rest of your Big Bend Adventure.
I love the line of shadow that cuts through this photograph. Lovely!
Wow....a monstrous shadow...but, only in TEXAS!! Everything's bigger in TEXAS.Mermaid ShadowsHope you're having a super Sunday!!
