Frothy Reflection

The bottomland swamp at Noxubee has flooded a lot lately, which makes things a lot more interesting. This was a narrow little part that was running faster than other areas, producing a bunch of foam, making for a kind of cool photo, especially with the trees in the reflection. (Side note, I finally found a marbled salamander this day too!) Weekend Reflections Black and White Weekend

I think this is a very cool photo. I've been taken pictures like this lately but mine have snow and ice in the water.

Nice draws in that swamp foam... You did a great job by catching them to share them with us... I really like the B&W choice you made on this very picture, Jill.

Excellent idea. I'm normally grossed out by the foam, but this gives a whole new perspective.

I thought it was ice at first. Very cool pic!

Nice! If you hadn't told me, I would have bet that it was herring swimming in steam.

Very nice! Unlike RuneE I've never seen herring in quantity, but my first thought was fish as well. Lovely abstract shot.

Very cool! My first thought was actually lots of floating driftwood...

A lot of interesting depth to this image. The froth pattern resembles tree bark. Cool find on the salamander.

Make it large and then make it larger - intriguing and darkly beautiful.

Oh! I love it. There's so much movement and flow in this picture. Very nice. Isn't nature always such a surpirse?

I may have looked at it differently. The lines look like streaks of light. Nice photo.
