That is gorgeous in monochrome. Simplicity is underrated.

Beautiful! Simplicity gets a lot of credit in my book -- I'm just not talented enough to show it!

You convinced me long ago with these photos of WSNM. I am hitting the road in a few weeks and WSNM is one of my destinations. Love the B&W treatment.

The look of the sea on land. The dunes offer nice ripples akin to a tide moving onto or off of a beach. The natural artistry of the simple waves cannot be overstated, especially in B&W!

White Sands is on my must-see list. Maybe this summer...

A SEEKER OF SHADOWS

A seeker of shadows one day
Asked shadows to come out and play:
“O shadows, my dears,
Despite all my fears,
I hope you will not run away.”

That is a very beautiful photograph. Some things are black and white. I am from Wisconsin, but i am spending some time this winter in New Mexico, (I do every year). I am near White Sands, just a little West. I need to pay more attention.

Peace

What a wonderful image. So true - that simplicity is under rated.
