Here's some stuff in monochrome

A bit of black and white for you on this crazy windy Friday. So glad February is almost over, definitely my least favorite month. Vladimir (trusty civic) is just about packed to capacity and I'm headed out of Mississippi tomorrow to the Lonestar state once again. (From the top: some kind of cholla, alligator juniper, and yucca- all from the Guadalupe Mountains in West Texas) Weekend in Black and White

this is nice, you found some nice textures

Did you know word verification changed making it hard to read the words they suggest and many just shut it down?

Great shapes in these - though for a moment (not being overfamiliar with cacti) I did just think that top one was some kind of sausage held together with toothpicks!

Jenny is funny... sausage!

Great textures and contrasts and I particularly like the short depth of field in the second and third shots.

I will be in Austin next weekend... order up some great weather, please!
