Nice work. Tiny, lovely, famous little bird. =) I have a few shots of amazing sand formations on La Jolla Shores beach that are marred by a small, bright blue piece of plastic. pbthbthbth!
So cute! I have never seen this variety of plover before.
That first image looks like a bird with attitude.
Such a cute little bird. They are very rare here in central Florida. Great catch!
Beautiful shots of the plover. Carver, ABC Wed. Team

Lovely photo!Leslieabcw team
What a pretty bird.
Fantastic images of a great bird!!! That first one makes me giggle with delight. So cute the photo is.
Great shot!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.

Great photos of this wonderful little bird!!
Great shots - a cute little bird ! Greetings from Liva :)
What a cool bird! Your photos are simply superb.
Just wonderful capture, and coloring.
We have a 'Plover' species here at work, and when mowing the turf where they nest, is often fought with swoops by the male bird... Over time though, we could get pretty close without them being to worried...A very nice couple of photos...Mines up as well at AussiePomm - A night at Harry's!!!!Have a great day!!
I see signs on the dunes about Snowy Plover nesting grounds, but never really knew what they were. Guess I thought they were kind of a sand piper, but now I recognized them :)
Love the head on photo of the Plover. It shows his personality.
What a cute bird! Great shots.
She look lonely!Pile of LeavesRose, ABC Wednesday Team
Like others,I know about this bird..I've seen the signs, but have never seen it. Lovely! Thank you.
Nice picture. Plastic waste is a huge issue around the world - even in Tasmania (which has nothing to the south of it except Antarctica) gets plastic wastes. Thanks for linking to WBWStewart M - Australia
Wonderful pics! Happy WW and happy Halloween!I played too. Mine are here and here.
Lovely little Plover, very nice images~
Beautiful Snowy Plovers, they're such sweeties!I just love photos of birds like the first one, that taken straight-on make them look like they're mad as hell and aren't going to take it anymore! It would be a fitting expression for the plover in the second photo, whose expression seems more plaintive... "When is someone with opposable thumbs going to please pick up this piece of trash for me?"
It is a pretty bird - looks like it has places to go and things to do!
Beautiful shots. What a cute little shorebird!
Wonder images! I keep hoping to find one during migration here on the west coast of Florida. No luck yet.
Lovely (okay, minus the trash).
Beautiful little Plover.
Love the head on view in the first photo.
