I just realized I have a pretty hefty backlog of photographs from this spring and summer still, which is cool since two of my lenses aren't really working right now and I'm not sure when I can get them fixed. So today you will have spiders. Snazzy spiders. They're not gonna hurt you, don't worry. (Top to bottom: some kind of jumping spider feasting on a cranefly? Mayfly? Giant Lichen Orb Weaver, a funnel spider type, and another sort of jumping spider) Macro Monday Our World Tuesday Nature Notes

Awesome photos!
Sorry about your lenses, but thanks for the fabulous spider pics! Super cool. I wanna take a nap on that funnel web, tho' I don't think I'd be welcome. And I always have time for salticids. =)
I hope you can get your lenses fixed. The detail on these spiders is incredible.
I envy your lenses for these spiders! I am trying to shoot them too, but so difficult because of the wind while they are on their webs. I posted some in my other site www.abagillon.blogspot.com. This is not what i linked here for macro monday, haha! thanks.

As much as they terrify me, I'm still rather amazed by them.

Excellent shots. But you can keep those critters!
Aweseome close-ups!
Love your eight legged friends. I like to have a huntsman in every room, especially in the summer time.
