These were my new friends of the day. The caterpillar was on a piece of ball moss I picked up while playing disc golf. Frogger friend was in the backyard creek (where I was looking for cool stuff). Pretty sure it's a Blanchard's Cricket Frog- he was about the size of my thumbnail, the 'pillar guy is pinky nail size. Tiny guys!

I can't imagine a frog that small, almost like a pocket pet. Great macros.
Gosh, I've never seen an adult frog that small! So neat!
Cool frog and I LOVE the caterpillar!
Such treasures!! Finding them would put a smile on anyones face!! I wonder how many people would even notice them?
What a cute frog!
Finding the toad was a keen eye as he is really very camouflaged

wow, that frog really blends in with his surroundings!
Wow, that frog is tiny!!! Great photos.
Do you know what the caterpillar is? I find field guides less useful for caterpillars than anything else. Many just assume you only want to know what the imago looks like!
Beautiful shots. The caterpillar is cute, the frog not so cute.
You got some cute little buggers for the day, Jill!! Fun one!! Have a great week!
Nice captures!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
